Homemade cornmeal

Our sweet corn this year didn't turn out very well,
so the girls ground it all up into cornmeal.

After the cobs were boiled and blanched,
the kernels were taken off for some hands-on work.


Then the corn was dehydrated


It takes six ears of corn for one cup of cornmeal



It all gets ground up in a grain mill



The end result!
