The Patriot Flag in Lansing....

Lansing was a very exciting place to be Tuesday, May 3.
This is because the Patriot Flag was there for a stop on its nationwide tour!

Essentially, the Patriot Flag is a travelling memorial of the first responders,
firefighters, police officers, and civilians that died in the 9/11 attacks.

This was also the flag's first display since the demise of Osama bin Laden,
so as you can imagine, it was quite an event to remember.....

The view of the flag from the legislative office I work at

The Patriot Flag is 30' x 57'

CBC'ers - Me, Caleb, and Philip with the flag

They also had another flag the same size that was cut up into strips,
which people would sign, It will be sewn together,
and displayed in NY on 9/11 this year as a memorial.

Me signing my name

Caleb adding his signature as well...

Other exciting news-
Senator Green's web page on K-12 education that
I helped develop is up!

You can visit it here.

This information will help taxpayers get an even better understanding
of the decisions facing lawmakers in Lansing.
