Barn 2013 post #3 - "The Store Post"

The younger cousins down at the Lake have a store they own and operate.
It's called "Lakeside Glass Store", and it is located in a thicket
between the Barn and our cousins' cottage next door.

When they first opened a few years back, their first product for sale was
jars of gravel  (picked up off the lane) @ $7 apiece :)

Due to the lack of gravel jar sales, they now have expanded into artwork on lake rocks,
a variety of lake glass, unique rocks, and (when Mary and Julia arrived) dishcloths.

Most of Lakeside Glass Store's employees (in the employees only section :)

Lukey is the store's intern

The wares out for sale

The store proprietors have done a lovely job paving the store floor with flat lake rocks...

The kids have a great time running the store, and producing items to sell,
and everyone up at the camp enjoys encouraging their entrepreneurship!

"Do you see a man skillful in his work?
He will stand before kings; he will not stand before obscure men."
Proverbs 22:29

Up next, our final post from the vacation!

  1. Good to see entrepreneurs at a young age! I'd buy some rocks and a washcloth if I was there!
