Thanksgiving Day

We are always grateful for Thanksgiving Day, where we can
set aside a time to thank the Lord for all He has done
and will continue to do.

The lineup

Grandpa carved the turkey. We had to cook it from
frozen, as it didn't defrost completely
while we were gone at the Bible Bee!

What a spread!

Apple cider is always the best

Rebecca and Miley

We played "Kingdoms". Here is a Kingdom conspiring together.

We also played Jenga

Even Dad joined in!

Here's a slo-mo vid Jon took on his iPhone of two Jenga towers coming down.

Visit with Beachells & heading home

After the Bible Bee, we stayed with our friends,
the Beachells, in North Carolina!

"This is how we fit four people on a piano bench!"

The guys helped process two deer while we were there!

A deer heart for your dear heart - it was delicious!

On the way home, we stopped at a Chick-fil-A in West Virginia.
This was the first time we had eaten at one!
We appreciate their strong traditional Christian values.
Read more about their founder here.

After 14 hours of travel, we arrived back home at 10:30 PM.
We were thankful all was well at the homestead.
We look forward to what God has in store in days to come!
