Rebecca's Bible Reading Party

A couple of weeks ago, we celebrated Rebecca's 1st reading through
of the Bible! She actually had finished in August
when she was about 6 1/2, but we had a
tricky time finding a date that would work for the party.

Rebecca got to pick out all of the food!

It was quite a mix:

Kraft Macaroni
Annie's Macaroni
Homemade Gourmet Tomato Soup with Ravioli
Baby Pickles
Baby Carrots and Dip
Strawberry Bavarian
Chocolate Pie

The lineup

What a lot for a little girl to eat!

Mmm, Mmm Good!

She also got to pick out several favorite hymns!

Singing with Grandma B.

Then came a special time of Bible study together

Next were letters from special people

These were big surprises!

A scroll from Grandma and Grandpa M.

A special Bible reading certificate from one of our
favorite websites here
We are very excited to see how God is working in Rebecca's life.
She has been showing great interest in knowing more about Him
and His great gift of salvation through Jesus Christ.
We pray that she will continue to read His Word
and live by it throughout her days!

"Thy word have I hid in mine heart,
that I might not sin against thee."
Psalm 119:11

    1. We are grateful to have first heard of the idea from your ministry probably 15 years ago! Now we have had 9 of our 10 children celebrate God's Word with their Bible-reading party! It is one of the highlights of their childhood. Thank you for all you have done to be a blessing to so many families like ours!
