December wrap-up post

Our wrap-up post for December has arrived! I can't believe it's already the end of the year!

Rebecca had fun with Addison!

Dutch Blitz was taught to some folks and played with the old players :)

Melody, Stacy, and Anna

We had another fun weekend with some of the Beckmans!

Typical Buk - reading a book while working in the kitchen :)

It was so great to see the Custers again!

Sorting out music for OCMS...

One of Jon's beautiful pictures of the Capitol

Wait! Where did our backyard go??

The guys did a lot of repair on the big van and our truck; the work is still going...

Caleb got this big squirrel out of our forest!
It had been fattening up on deer feed :)

Caleb playing in his teacher's recital - he did an excellent job!

Selah did such a great job!!

Grace, Melody and their students did a Christmas recital at a nursing home.

Lots of cases etc....

Grace playing a duet with Lois

The R. brass trio

Last week, we went down to Swanton, OH to do a Christmas program for the folks there and it was such a privilege to help in the work that has already started at Grace Bible Fellowship!

Dad gave a Gospel message about the life of Christ

Anna played "O Come, O Come, Emmanuel"

A beautiful rendition of "Thou Didst Leave Thy Throne"

Impromptu music stand

The older girls - Melody, Anna, Grace, Emily, Kaylah, and Lydia

Some of the younger girls - Rebecca, Alyssa, and Julia

This may be their new church building!

Jesus, Others and You - what a wonderful way to spell "JOY"

The family letter has always been a big project for us, and this year was no exception :)

So many letters! This year we sent out almost 500!!

One of our Christmas traditions is to make Happy Birthday
Jesus candles to use on Christmas Eve and Day.

This time, Mary and Julia headed up the project; Rebecca was in charge of candles.

They did an excellent job!

We had to take down our Christmas tree early this year because we were losing
too many needles and for other reasons...

See?!?!? No needles :)

We had a pretty big mess to clean up :)

That pretty much sums it up!
