January wrap-up post

'Tis the end of January, so the wrap-up post is here!

This pic was from many months ago, but Mom
finally found a street named after her!

On New Year's Eve, we had a few friends over and stayed up 'til 3:30 am :)

Getting organized to play Signs

There were snacks the whole evening...

This is one big veggie tray!

There were many Round Robin games

Mark teaching the girls how to play Western Justice

We had an OCMS Solo and Ensemble Concert on January 3
and there were many beautiful pieces!

Melody performed Boccherini Sonata No. 6 in A major

Mrs. M. played Vivaldi's Concerto in C major on the piccolo!

Grace performed Chopin's Scherzo No. 2

An arrangement of I will Praise Him was played by Grace, Melody and Anna

Be Thou My Vision

It was so wonderful to see Melody's first cello teacher!

The matching ladies - Anna and Mrs. A

They can be very goofy at times... :)

We had a very short visit from a few of the Beckman ladies earlier this month.
Here are Kristen and Melody matching!

Julia and Emily

There's always some time to have friends over to go snowmobiling!

Most of us kids attended the "SSI Not Christmas Party" and had fun playing
some games and seeing folks that have attended SSI over the years!

Round Robin

I (Lydia) got to babysit the K. kids

Katelyn is such a cutie :)

Melting icicle in hope of Spring :)

The guys (mostly Caleb) worked on our truck for months and just
recently got it working and ready to plow our driveway when it snows!

This is where Caleb spent most of his days...

This is the lowest gas price we've ever gotten -54 cents!
Mom sure makes those pennies scream!

Jon started this month working in the legislative office of the
newly elected Lee Chatfield!

Quoting Tim Hawkins

Jon was able to attend the State of the State in Lansing!

Lee Chatfield got a lot of interviews

Jon and Keagen with Frank Beckmann!

Jon with Ruth Johnson and friends

A surprise celebration of Elizabeth's birthday!

The scarf ladies!

Only Caleb would do this :)

Now there's a huge receipt!

Into the shredder you go!

Snow fun in action

That book must be very interesting...

The latest project for the guys - rebuilding this car's engine

This is the engine lift...

...and this is how it works!

Jonathan's look-alike :)

Emma and some of her family came over to play
in the snow and spend time together!

Making a snow angel

Buddies :)

Talking around the table with Aunt Mary, Uncle Don, Allison and Dustin...

Emma helped her mom make these delicious cupcakes!
