May is done?!?!?!

Wow, we did a lot during May! Hope you enjoy this peek into our month!

Working to make a terraced garden where we used to have stairs
Culver's had a great ice cream deal one day, so Mom and Dad treated all of us!
We have two gorgeous crabapple tress in our front yard!

So peaceful...

Here are some closeups of the flowers. (Most of them were taken by Lydia)

We have these beautiful tulips in the front yard

See the bee?
Grandma's lovely flowers

Stuffing letters for Jon's boss
Julia and I went to Lansing the next day with Jon to finish up all the letters
Walking to lunch - Jon's treat!
The beautiful day at the Capitol!
Finally, with some of the last envelopes!
Stack #1
Stack #2
Stack #3
In all, we stuffed about 2,000 envelopes!

That night, a very dear friend, Audrey, had her Senior Recital!

A fun Scrabble "game" :)

The guys went to a Tiger's game!

Melody and Anna had their student recitals as well.

The door going out is bigger than the door coming in .... I wonder why?!

Painting a birdhouse
This raccoon was pregnant!
Buk wanted the tail :P

Through our side window - a daddy rose-breasted grosbeak

And the mama!
This very rare smoke-face turkey was in our backyard!
Flowers at Grandma and Grandpa's house on the engagement bush

So that was our busy May!

Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do,
do everything for God’s glory.

  1. Wow, you've all been busy! :) I loved looking through all the pictures and just wanted to drop by and say that "Queen Sheba's Ring" is SOO much fun. We read it all together last year and really enjoyed it. I've never read "Fair Margaret", but I'd like to sometime...

By the way, I don't comment very often, but I love reading the updates on your blog about what your family's been up to! Keep posting!! :)
